Glen Simpson is survived by a wonderful grand niece and nephew who both thought highly of what he did. Life is full of people who B.S. and do nothing Glen was more like his father than any of the other children. Glen was a Home Depot guy like me a "doer" "let's make a difference" he was surrounded by idiots and after years of living in WPB my frequent calls convinced him to get away from the people who were negative in his former home that he also built with his own hands in WPB. It was nice to and survived many storms and at least 2 major hurricanes. Once he called me immediately after a hurricane passed over him and told me the story!!! Glen and I shared many fun stories and all the way back to 1970's we always managed to agree about almost everything. Glen was an honest man just shows why he and I got along so well. Emma de Brauwere thought the world of him and we miss you Glen. Glen convinced me to live life years ago and we often ended conversations knowing we would pick up later. I never was sad to see Glen go because I knew we would always have another fun conversation later. No one could ever say anything bad about Glen and I that was truthful because Glen was a good man. We really miss you Glen. Glen and I made plans together and always accomplished everything we agreed upon. Love Stewart & Emma

Glen was my uncle he was around my whole life in South Florida. We spent hours talking about Construction as I became more of an expert. He constantly challenged my knowledge even when I went back to University Studies. His move to SC did not appreciate his construction work. He was an expert. Also he told me the locals did not appreciate good work and they did not pay well. Glen could build luxury homes and finish out the inside. He was an expert at foundations and block. He also had experience finishing out condo’s worth over 1 million to 5 million in Miami with Marble and custom walls. Not one person asked me to contribute to his obituary. He was a good man! Glen was an honest uncle to me and a very hard working honest man that never found a good woman! Sincerely Stewart de Brauwere 13367 Stone Pond Drive Jacksonville FL 32224

I'm so sorry for your loss. Glen was one of the kind He was a friend threw and threw I met him back in 72 Knew him from school and then kept my horse out by where he's Family lived Off of 441. There was nothing out there then except horse farms and Dairy farms. He used to come and pick Us Girls up He drove a black lancer, He was always up for anything anybody wanted to do. We use to say He was like our brother and he hated that, hahaha. If he was not with his family during holidays, he would spend time. When my mom was still alive. Having Thanksgiving and Christmas at her house until she passed and then he would come to mine and Danny Baladez home Right up to A week before he moved to the carolinas.. It was Christmas. I had to drink with him And I said this is gonna probably be the last time we see each other and he said no it won't, But sadly it was. There was So much more That I can talk about Through. Out the years He will be sadly missed Along with his one liners And a silly look he would give you once And a while... RIP My sweet friend. Get everyone Up there a hug for me 🥰💔
