Fredrick Leigh “Fred” Williams, 80, of Greenville, South Carolina, died Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital Downtown.
Born in Hendersonville, he was the widower of Geneva Reeves Williams and son of the late Joseph Rafe and Mary Elizabeth Hipp Williams.
He graduated from Hendersonville High School and later received his BSL from Holmes Theological Seminary in Greenville. He retired from Belk with 37 years of service.
Surviving is a brother, James A. Williams and his wife Mary of Greer; also surviving are a niece and two great nieces.
Fred’s wish was to be cremated and placed by his wife with no services.
