Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Wheeler will be conducted 11:00AM Wednesday, June 22, 2022 in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Private burial will be at Abbott Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 until 10:45 am at the mortuary.

Dacus Allen Wheeler, 64, of Liberty, South Carolina, died Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Pruitt Health & Rehab. Born in Pickens, he was a son of the late Walter Reford and Janet Ruth Dacus Wheeler.  Allen was a certified mechanic for many years, and was an avid Clemson Football fan.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Jennifer Lynn Roach (David) of Greenville, and Kelley Ann Howard (Josh) of Greenville; a brother, Larry Wheeler (Leslee) of Greer; a sister, Judy Messer (Doug) of Liberty; a granddaughter, Gracie Llynn Roach; also surviving is his loving dog, Max.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Walter Ronnie Wheeler, Steven Wheeler, and Jerry Wheeler.

Flowers/plants will be accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
