Mary Juanita Parton Trotter, 70, of 119 Maxwood Drive, passed away peacefully Friday, April 21, 2017 at Greenville Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Greenville she was a daughter of the late Fred Parton and Nora Houston Wood. She was retired from the School District of Pickens County and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends as well as gardening. She was a member of The Bridge Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Lisa Gilstrap of Pickens; a son, Marion Trotter of Anderson; a sister, Angie Thackston of Simpsonville; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a son, Jeffery Trotter; a brother, Alvin Parton and a great grandchild.
