Margaret Dodgins Perry

Margaret Dodgins Perry, a beloved member of the Liberty community, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2024, at the age of 84. She was born on November 19, 1939, in Pickens, South Carolina, to the late Rufus William and Sarah Kelley Dodgins.

Margaret was a resilient and hardworking woman who dedicated her life to her craft as a seamstress in the textiles industry.  She was a member of Liberty Church of God of Prophecy.

She is survived by her children, Ann Pilgrim (Ed), and Keith Perry (Lori); her caregivers, Carlos and Connice Dodgins, her son in law, William Pilgrim; grandchildren, Tony, Allen, Jacob, Holly, and April; also surviving are several great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Golden Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.  No visitation is planned.

She will forever be remembered for the unconditional love and support she provided to her family.
