Lizzie Mae Evette Dorr, 97, of 117 Bivens Street, died Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Majesty Health & Rehab in Easley. Born in Pickens she was the widow of Elmer L. Dorr and a daughter of the late Lorenzo Keith and Hattie Byars Evette.
She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Pickens First Baptist Church. Throughout the years she loved flowers, gardening, crochet, and crafts.
Surviving are a son in law, Boyce Jones of Pickens; a granddaughter, Robin Jones of Pickens; two brothers, Ernest Evette of Brevard, NC, and Melvin Evette of Easley.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Trula Dorr Jones.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to ARK Hospice, 117 Broadbent Way, Anderson SC 29626.
