The earth is sadder......but Heaven is sweeter. His pew at Ruhamah is vacant........but God has a 'special' place prepared just for Lewis. He was such a blessing to us all and our lives enriched because God allowed Lewis to pass our way.Our hearts are breaking ..... but our souls are rejoicing because Lewis has seen with his own eyes........Jesus..... has touched the hands that were pierced for him and felted our Savior's arms as Jesus hugged him and welcomed him home! Lewis' s body will not be put in a casket. His body will be placed in his 'Hope Chest' because our Lord has promised hope for all that now him. He will not be buried at the cemetery but at 'His Resurrection Site'. We have not lost Lewis because you can't lose anyone if we know where to find them. And we certainly know whereLewis is.........waiting for all of us to join him at his brand new home.....HEAVEN. I will be seeing you soon, sweet Lewis! Thank you for all the sweet memories!

Lewis was such a caring a loving man who loved the Lord. When he was able to make it church, a little more last year, and I would see him and ask how he was doing he would say he was fine, but he wanted to know how I was. That was during a very bad time for me health wise, but he always thought of others first. I remember Lewis asking for the song " I'll Fly Away" to be sung" I believe that was his favorite. Well, he has flown home now to be with his Lord. We will miss him, but we also know that he found comfort in the arms of Jesus <3

Our family will always be thankful and appreciative of the many visits, support, and friendship of Lewis and Shirley during both our parents, Lorene and Edwin King's, declining health. It was, without a doubt, a true example of the meaning of Christian love.
