Memorial services to honor Leslie’s life will be 6:00 PM Friday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 4:30 until 6:00 PM at the mortuary.
Leslie Carole Freeman, 48, of 320 Oakvale Drive, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at her residence following an eleven month battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born in Shelby, North Carolina, she was raised in Easley, and graduated from Easley High School and attended Greenville Technical College. She spent 20 years working at IHOP in Greenville.
During her free time she loved to spend time in the mountains and going on adventures with Lucas.
Surviving are her mother and step father, Linda and Andy Harnage of Easley; her father and step mother, Dennis and Joan Freeman of Greenville; two step sisters, Donna Stevenson of Spartanburg, and Lisa Summerall of Greenville; a step brother, Ken Register of Greenville; a God Son, Lucas Johnson of Easley, and a longtime friend and caregiver, Wendy Johnson of Easley.
The family will be at their respective homes.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson SC 29621 or Glenwood Baptist Church, Building Fund, 325 Saco Lowell Road, Easley SC 29640.
