Kelly Morgan, 75, of Smith Grove Road passed away peacefully, Sunday, August 13, 2017 at his residence. Born in Andrews, N.C., he was the husband of Thelma Davis Morgan of the home and a son of the late Otis and Stella Moore Morgan. He was a retired truck driver for Autozone and a member of Bates Masonic Lodge #189 A.F.M. He was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving in addition to his wife are 3 daughters, Judy Walker(Chris) of Andrews, N.C, Melissa Stewart(Mickey) and Angela Millsaps(Jimmy), both of Robbinsville, N.C.; 2 sons, Mitch Hyde(Gloria) of Robbinsville, N.C. and Mark Hyde(Melissa) of Liberty, S.C.; 3 sisters, Betty Jo Raxter of Andrews, N.C., Lula Bell George of Alabama and Diane Cable of Robbinsville, N.C.; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a sister, Odena Luther and a brother, Willard Morgan and 1 infant brother.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Townson-Smith Funeral Home in Robbinsville, N.C. Funeral services officiated by Reverend Mickey Stewart and Reverend Jimmy Millsaps will follow in the chapel at 7:00 PM Burial with graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 17, 2017 at New Hope Cemetery in Robbinsville, N.C.
