Joseph George Bryant, 78, of 10 Iselin Street, passed away on Sunday, September 09, 2012 at Heritage Healthcare in Six Mile. Born in Greenwood he was a son of the late Mack and Ophelia Strickland Bryant.
He worked for Greenwood Mills before his retirement and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. His hobbies included fishing, watching sports, and he was an avid NASCAR fan.
Surviving are his wife, Frances Sheriff Bryant of the home; two daughters, Runette Brown and her husband Larry of Pickens, and Janet Bryant Galbreath of Easley; three grandchildren, Dana Parks, Laura Pittman, and Katelyn Croom; 3 great grandchildren.
