Johnny Mack Morton, 61, of 1510 Hebron Street, Hendersonville, North Carolina, died Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, North Carolina. Mr. Morton was a son of the late John Henry and Ercel Watson Morton. He was born in Pickens County and a former resident of Liberty. He was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are a brother, Fred Dewey Morton of Hendersonville; and seven aunts, Evelyn Townsend of Easley, Frances Nix of Liberty, Anne Etter of Ware Place, Linda Galloway of Rosmond, North Carolina, Helen Whitmire of Oklahoma, Louise Simmons of Liberty and Carolyn Leopard of Liberty.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by three aunts, Willa Mae Pitts, Vivian Snipes and Patricia Watson; and one uncle, Lymon Watson.

All services will be private. The family will be at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Greenville Shriner’s Hospital for Children: 950 W. Farris Road Greenville, SC 29605.
