John Calvin Smith passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at his home. Born in Six Mile he was a son of the late Alvin Judge and Pearl Towe Smith.
Mr. Smith retired from Easley Mechanical and was a United States Army Ranger veteran of the Vietnam War.
Surviving are a daughter, Crysty Riggs of Seneca; a son, John T. Smith of Liberty; two brothers, Donnie Smith of Easley, and Parker Smith of Six Mile; four grandchildren, Leirin Smith, Emily and Jacob Riggs, and Austin Smith.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Tony Smith.
No formal services are planned. In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to The Animal Rescue Fund of South Carolina, (on premises of FoxNest Veterinary) 1445 Clemson Blvd., Seneca SC 29678.
