Jeffery Scott “Jeff” Powell

Funeral services to honor Jeff’s life will be 3:00 PM Thursday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Liberty Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the mortuary.

Jeffrey Scott “Jeff” Powell, 34, of Liberty passed away, Monday May 28, 2012. Born in Greenville he was a son of the late Thomas Earl “Tommy” Powell.

Jeff was a 1995 graduate of Liberty High School, and was an avid fisherman, deer hunter, and golfer. He owned and operated his own landscaping company for several years. He attended Rock Springs Baptist Church in Easley.

Surviving are his wife, Andrea Bagwell Powell of the home; a son, Jacob Powell of the home; a daughter, Brantley Powell of the home; his mother and step father, Joyce and Don Porter of Pendleton; a brother, Jason Powell of Norris; his step mother, Debra Powell of Liberty; grandparents, Frances Powell of Norris, Edith Durham of Pendleton, Helen Porter of Seneca; a step brother, Chris Campbell of Williamston; a step sister, Trudi Winstead of Tamassee; his father and mother in law, Larry and Susan Bagwell of Liberty; a sister in law, Kristi Harris of Liberty.

In addition to his father he was predeceased by three grandparents, Cub Powell, Thomas Durham, and Seymour Porter.

The family will be at the home of his step mother, Debra Powell, 119 Norman Street, Liberty.
