Jack H. Stancil

Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Stancil will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the mortuary.

Jack H. Stancil, 72, of 515 Cassell Road, died Sunday, February 20, 2011 at his residence. Born in Seneca he was a son of the late Elijah and Annie Mae Simmons Stancil. He was retired from Central Textiles.

His interests included woodworking, camping, and he loved all kinds of racing.

Surviving are his loving wife of 55 years, Brenda Teigue Stancil; 6 daughters, Dianne Taylor of Central, Kathy Walter (Mark) of Liberty, Jackie Wilcox (Floyd), and Faye Wilcox (Phillip) all of Central, Tammi Smith (Michael) of Pendleton, and Joy Goza of Liberty; a son, Jack Stancil, Jr. of the home; a brother, Terry Lee Stancil of Anderson; 9 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Martha Stancil, and two brothers, Daniel & Vance Stancil.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas TX 75231. The family will be at the home.
