Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Masters will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 19, 2018 in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Minnie Irene Franklin Masters, 93, of Black Bottom Road, died Monday, April 16, 2018 at Manna Health & Rehab of Pickens. Born in Cleveland, Georgia, she was the widow of Deitrick Beiman “D.B.” Masters and a daughter of the late William and Ollie Wiggley Franklin. She retired as the canteen manager at Woodside Mills. She loved spending time with her family and friends as well as her flowers, watching the birds and dancing. She was of the Baptist faith and the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Joan Griffin and Donna Crawford(Melvin) both of Liberty; a son, William “Bill” Masters(Gloria) of Simpsonville; 7 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; 2 daughters-in-law, Louann and Clara Masters and many loving friends.

In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by 2 sons, Charles and Danny Masters; and 11 brothers and sisters.
