Henry Grady Pelfrey, 88, of 360 Jule Merck Road, died Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Countryside Village in Easley. Born in Walhalla he was the widow of Mamie Elizabeth Bryant Pelfrey and a son of the late Henry Lee and Mary Haulbrook Pelfrey.
He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and a United States Navy Veteran of World War II.
Surviving are a daughter, Carolyn Head of Norris; two sons, James “Sonny” Pelfrey of Glouchester, VA, and Grady Pelfrey, Jr. of the home; his step mother, Mary Pelfrey of Pickens; 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
