Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Hickling will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 18, 2018 in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Liberty Mortuary. Burial with Full military honors will follow at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veteran’s Cemetery.

Henry Fredrick “Rick” Hickling, 72, died Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at his residence. Born in Miami, FL, he was the husband of Kathy Fox Hickling and the son of the late Fred Lewis and Edna Rabbe Hickling. He was a retired MSGT with the U.S. Air Force serving for over 30 years and later retired from GE in Greenville. He enjoyed gardening and traveling and spending time with his family. He was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Heather Earnhart(Bruce) of Travelers Rest; two sons, Thomas Hickling(Jolene) of Ft. Lauderdale and Kenneth Hickling(Kristina) of Pickens; and four grandchildren, Brayden and Kelsey Earnhart, and Chase and Finn Hickling.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a sister, Marie Smith.
