Funeral services for Mrs. Patterson will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 5, 2018 in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:30 until 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Roanoke Baptist Church Cemetery.

Hazel, a hard-working homemaker with many talents, was devoted to God and her family. Her life is described in Proverbs 31.

She was preceded in death by her husband, O’Dell Patterson, her parents, M.L. and Lillian Hendricks, four brothers, Leroy, James, John and Hubert Hendricks, a son-in-law, Russell Owens, a daughter-in-law, Debbie Patterson and a great-grandson, Brandon Owens.

Hazel is survived by her children, Jerry (Gail) Patterson of Griffin, GA, Tommy (Dot) Patterson and Jim(Faye) Patterson of Six Mile, Faye Owens, Linda (John) Haltiwanger, Joe (Judy) Patterson, Fran (Michael) Griffith all of Liberty, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank her caregivers, Janice Schupbach and Brenda Winchester. We also thank the nurses and staff of PruittHealth Hospice for the love and exceptional care provided for more than three years.
