Harold F. Hutchinson, III, 65, of 101 Forrester Drive, died Thursday, December 19, 2019 at his residence. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was the husband of Danielle H. Bovis Hutchinson of the home and a son of the late Harold F. Hutchinson, Jr. and Florence Hamalainen Hutchinson. He retired from the U.S. Coast Guard as a Senior Chief. He had a love for the water and enjoyed boating and building models of boats.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Jennifer and Jill, both of Georgia; two stepdaughters, Linda DeSilvio and Denise Dawson, both of New Jersey; a stepson, Colonel John Goodson, USAF of Andrews AFB; three sisters, Diane Hutchinson and Laurie Thompson, both of New Jersey and Florence Irving of Arizona; a brother, Bob Hutchinson of New Jersey; and seven grandchildren.

No services are planned at this time. The family will be at the residence.

We will miss Harry so much. We have wonderful memories of Harry and Danielle in SC , Florida and Ga. Sherm has good memories of all the military talks they had.

Wonder what he was thinking.....

Harry LOVED his sailboat (almost as much as he loved the Coast Guard), whether just doing routine maintenance or heading out for a few days. As did his father, he found great peace of mind on the water.

This class photo was labeled as "8th grade - 1967-1968, 13 years old". Tennis sweaters were the 'fashion statement' of the time!

He surfed until retiring from the Coast Guard and moving to Liberty, South Carolina.

Welcome to our new home!

'Butch', 'Flossie' and Laurie (sporting a fashion forward, off-the-shoulder version of the overalls we were all forced to wear.....thanks, Mom!) on June 16th, 1957. We were seated outside our new home in Port Reading, NJ which was still under construction.

Oh, no.....not ANOTHER one! Move over, 'Flossie', 'Butch' and Laurie.....Princess 'Di' has arrived! This photo would have been taken in the spring of 1958 on our front lawn in Port Reading, NJ. Not sure if Laurie's really feeling it!
