Frances Marie Sova Owens, 70, of 124 Jake Drive, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Baptist Easley Hospital. Born in Jacksonville, Florida she was the widow of Winston Churchhill Owens, and a daughter of the late Frank and Florence Higginbotham Sova.
She worked at Riverside Fashions and later worked at Alexander Drycleaners in Easley. She was a member of Hilltop Wesleyan Church in Liberty.
Surviving are a daughter, Tonya Russell of Liberty; two sons, Jimmy Greentree of Jacksonville, FL, and Thomas Greentree of Powdersville; two sisters, Shirley Sova and Barbara Frame both of Jacksonville, FL: 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Memorial services to honor the life of Mrs. Owens will be 4:00 PM Saturday at Hilltop Wesleyan Church, 735 Golden Creek Road, Liberty SC. No visitation is planned.
The family will be at the home. Liberty Mortuary is handling arrangements.
