Edith Sanders Head, 84, of 172 Orchard Drive, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Baptist Easley Hospital. Born in Liberty she was the widow of Raymond Head and a daughter of the late Grace and Lillie Mae Sanders.
She retired from Saco Lowell and was a longtime member of East Side Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was known for her sweet and caring disposition, and through that she touched countless lives.
Surviving are two daughters, Diane Swords and Judy Baker both of Liberty; five grandchildren, Brian Swords, Patrick Campbell, Alicia Campbell-Moffitt, Chris Swords, and Amanda Cruz; also surviving are 10 great grandchildren.
She was the last survivor of her immediate family. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to East Side Baptist Church, 920 Anderson Drive, Liberty SC 29657.
