Graveside services with military honors will be 1:00 PM Monday at Liberty Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:30 until 12:30 PM at the Liberty Mortuary.
David Clarence Morton, 65, of 227 Corn Mill Road, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2012 at the McCall Hospice House. Born in Pickens he was a son of the late Clarence C. and Alice Powell Morton.
He retired from Mayfair Mill and was a member of Porters Chapel United Methodist Church. David was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp where he served his country during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife, Susan Holliday Morton of the home; a step son, Richard Grumbles of Greenville; two sisters, Brenda Russo, and Mary Collins; two grandchildren, Ashton Grumbles and Erin Grumbles.
