Funeral services to honor Danny’s life will be held at 3:00 pm, Thursday, July 27, 2017 in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Liberty Mortuary. Burial at Blue Ridge View Baptist Church Cemetery will be private.

Daniel Vincent “Danny” Carter, 56, of 210 Herringbone Run, passed away peacefully Monday, July 24, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital Downtown in Greenville. Born in Pickens, he was the son of Bonnie O’Shields Allison of the home and Dewey Vincent “Vince” Carter of Piedmont. Danny was loved by everyone who met him. He was an avid racing fan and loved music and any kind of sports magazines. He had previously attended Better Skills and also attended the Adult daycare in Liberty. He also enjoyed attending New Spring in Powdersville.

Surviving in addition to his parents are 3 sisters, Donna Albright(Joe) of Powdersville, Anita Finley of Easley and Debbie Hayes(Tony) of Hoschton, GA; a step sister, Nancy Aiken(Brian) of Easley; 2 step brothers, Larry Allison(Stacey) of Pickens and Terry Allison(Tracey) of Easley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his step father, Travis Allison.
