Graveside services to honor the life of Mr. Alexander will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Liberty Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 7:30 PM at the Liberty Mortuary.

Clarence E. Alexander, 97, of 215 W. Alexander Drive, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 13, 2017 at his home. Born in Liberty he was the widower of Ruth Revis Alexander and a son of the late Louie and Dolly Nix Alexander.

He retired from Greenwood Mills and then later worked for Bolding Brothers Service Station for many years.

Mr. Alexander was a United States Army Veteran of World War II.

Surviving are two sons, Glen Alexander (Janice) of Liberty, and Charles Alexander (Linda) of Easley; a brother, Kenneth Alexander of Pickens; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Holcombe and a son, Carl Alexander.

The family will be at the home of Glen and Janice Alexander, 201 W. Alexander Drive, Liberty SC.
