Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Cash will be 3:00 PM Monday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Cecil “Morris” Cash, 81, of 204 Norwood Street, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at his home. Born in Salem he was a son of the late John and Rena Cantrell Cash.
He retired from Blankenship Electric in Greenville and was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Pickens.
Morris loved his work, his friends, and to make people laugh, but most of all he loved his family dearly.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Mock Cash of the home; two daughters, Robbie Skinner (Britt) of Easley, and Barbara Roach (Jimmy) of Pickens; three grandchildren, Brandy Hess, Tia Fincannon, and Robby Roach; 5 great grandchildren, and his mother in law, Myrtle Mock of Webster, FL.
He was the last survivor of his immediate family.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to the Alzheimer’s Association, PO Box 96011, Washington DC 20090-6011.
The family will be at the home. Liberty Mortuary is handling arrangements.
