Carolyn Dooley “Katy” Teague

Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Teague will be held Friday, November 25, 2016 at 3:00PM in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:30 until 3:00 PM at the mortuary.

Carolyn Dooley “Katy” Teague, 69, of 166 Parrott Drive, died Thursday, November 17, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital Eastside. Born in Anderson, she was the wife of Benjamin Terrell “Terry” Teague and a daughter of the late John Dooley and Arie Gilbert Dooley Lynch. Prior to retiring from the School District of Pickens County where she worked in the Pickens Middle School cafeteria, she was a florist for 15 years at Heaven Sent Florist. She was a very crafty lady and enjoyed making jewelry. She was a member of Ridgeland Drive Baptist Church where she was also active with Creative Ministries.

Surviving in addition to her husband are 3 daughters, Angela Reish(Kenneth) of Centerville, VA, Elizabeth Ann Dehling(Ryan) of Fond Du Lac, WI and Cindy Brylski Breit(Al) of Greenville, WI; 3 sons, Rev. Shannon Franklin(Shari) of Clover, SC, Terrell Teague of Rochester, NY and Shockey Teague(Paris) of Florida; 2 sisters, Frances Nations of Norris, SC and Donnie Dooley of Jonesboro, GA; numerous grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her first husband, Clarence Acey Franklin; 3 sisters, Rillia Lovelace, Edith Harris and Louise Dooley; and 2 brothers, Paul and Walter Dooley.

Carolyn, you are the love of my life, the light of my world and my best friend.
