Bobby Allen Wood, 84, of 600 Breazeale Road, died Friday, August 3, 2018 at his residence. Born in Bristol, Tennessee, he was the widower of Alice Bass Wood and the son of the late Buren and Virgie Richardson Wood. He was a retired truck mechanic from Coca-Cola Enterprises and had also served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a daughter, Candice Wood; a son, Tyler Wood; a step daughter, Barbara Goodman and a sister-in-law, Mattie Collins of the home.
In addition to his wife and parents he was predeceased by two sisters, Edith Crane and Doris Richards.
No services are planned at this time. Private inurnment will be held at a later date at Liberty Memorial Gardens. The family will be at their respective homes.
