Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Willimon will be 11:00 AM Tuesday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial with military honors will follow at Liberty Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at the mortuary.
Archie Kelley Willimon, 72, of 204 Allgood Bridge Road, went home to be with his heavenly Father, Friday, June 24, 2011 from injuries sustained in a moped accident.
Born in Six Mile he was a son of the late J.B. and Queen Esther Kelley Willimon. Throughout his life he worked as a carpenter. He was a member of Free Wesleyan Church, and Loved the Lord, his family and friends.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Joyce Green Willimon of the home; a daughter and son in law, Cindy and Bobby Bridges of Pickens; two sons and daughters in law, Jeff and Anne Willimon of Six Mile, and Joel and Becky Willimon of Sudlersville, MD; a sister, Martha Bryant of Pickens; two brothers, Joe Willimon of Greenville, and Fred Willimon of Central; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a brother, W.L. Willimon.
