Graveside services for Mrs. Harris will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at Graceland East Cemetery. No visitation is planned.
Addie Curry Harris, 75, of 216 W. Carolina Avenue died Wednesday at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson. Born in Tupelo, Mississippi, she was the wife of Harvey Glen Harris and a daughter of the late George A. and Effie Simpson Curry. She was a retired truck driver and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Timothy Dale Whitten and his wife Dorothy of Easley and William Anthony Whitten of Greenville; two sisters, Eddie “Tink” Wallis of Pontotoc, MS and Louise Creely of Tupelo, MS; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by eight sisters; and two brothers.
