Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Farmer will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, July 13, 2017 in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Entombment will follow at Liberty Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:30 PM at Liberty Mortuary.

Bruce Thompson Farmer, 77, of 114 Shallowford Road died Tuesday, July 11, 2017. Born in Greenville, he was the husband of Linda Donald Farmer and the son of the late Nathan Ovander and Frances Hanks Farmer. He was a retired electrician from Huntington & Guerry and was of the Methodist faith.

Surviving in addition to his wife are 2 daughters, Sherri Owen(Tony) and Lavada Crolley both of Easley; 2 sons, Billy Coates(Debbie) and Nathan D. Farmer (Michelle Williams) both of Easley; a sister, Nancy Steele of Williamston; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a sister, Mary Liverman; a brother, William Farmer and a grandson, Craig Owen.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors and staff of Regency Hospital on the 4th floor of St. Francis Hospital Downtown.

The family will be at the home of his daughter, Lavada Crolley at 1018 Smith Grove Road Easley, SC 29640. Liberty Mortuary is handling arrangements.
